OUR MISSION
The mission of the Community Fast is to unite as citizens, businesses, churches and organizations in a common cause to give thanks and bring compassionate relief to those in need in our community during the holiday season.

Over the thirteen year life of the Community Fast, more than $415,000 has been donated to help those in need. 100% of those donations have been passed on to help local families in need over the holiday season.

The Community Fast is typically held the week before Thanksgiving each year, followed by a Community Fast Celebration. This year the Celebration was held Sunday, 11/23/25 at the Show Low School District Auditorium. More than 300 people attended.
Make a difference
We invite you to donate the savings from fasting one or two meals (or more) during the week of the Community Fast. 100% of your donation (minus PayPal's processing fee) will be passed on to help local families in need over the holidays. You can also donate in person at Show Low City Hall or at the Show Low branch of National Bank of Arizona, Chase Bank, or Arizona Central Credit Union. Thank you for your generosity!
